CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to submit an abstract for the 6th IPNET-K conference that will take place in Kisumu County,Accacia Premier Hotel, on 26th to 29th November 2019.  

IPNET-K is a registered society that champion infection prevention practices in both healthcare and community settings in Kenya. Since 2009, IPNET-Kenya has held 5 conferences that aim to educate, collaborate, foster understanding among stakeholders and promote exchange of information and expertise on infection prevention and control practices.

By submitting your abstract, you will be contributing to exchange of scientific information that will improve infection control practices as well as lead to a successful conference.

The theme of the conference is: “PUTTING IPC AND QUALITY AT THE CENTER OF UHC”. Under it, there are several subthemes and topics of interest to you. The deadline for abstract submission will be on 30th September 2019.

The abstract word count should be a maximum of 300 words. The structure should be:

  • Title;
  • Introduction/Background;
  • Methodology/Implementation;
  • Results/Findings;
  • Conclusions/Lessons learnt.
